Great book. I loved that it was set in Scotland. A touch of romance, mystery and ghosts.

Otherwise this classic novel is worthy of attention to all readers, especially if you're lucky to find an illustrated copy!! Sheer brilliance!!

Cute

I like history but found the book dry in spots. Mr Cohen made Hicks into a hero instead of recognizing him as a cold-blooded pirate in 1860 NY.

Good

This is a fun, quick read, especially if you love dogs. I am going to use the recipe to make my dogs some ice cream!

It was a great book

This book was a real page-turner--read it in one weekend! I figured out the plot twist about 3/4 of the way, through, but I still enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the small ideas to help stay on track day to day.
