Gender Queer: A Memoir
by Maia Kobabe

Excellent read. The illustrations created so many layers in the book. This is a book I definitely think everyone should read!

Bit of a quiet chapter but sets the stage for the future!

Wayward
by Dana Spiotta

Introspective novel with mostly unlikeable characters and no plot. The highlight of this book is the Syracuse setting with lots of references to local places.

My first Colleen Hoover book . It kept my interest but really had no affection for any of the characters at the end .

This book was a real page-turner--read it in one weekend! I figured out the plot twist about 3/4 of the way, through, but I still enjoyed it.

Mr. Malcolm's List
by Susan Allain

Disclaimer: I read this book as part of the “Read a book outside your normal genre” challenge. Without giving too much of the story away, it felt like a telephone version of the regency novel.

The red ripe strawberry and the big hungry bear was a funny book. There was squeals if joy throughout the whole book.

I love writing stories like her.
