Fascinating and heartbreaking.

Family Lore

I was disappointed with this book. I generally find to really enjoy Good Morning America Book Club picks. However, this book seemed very disjointed. There were a lot of characters and storylines but I did not feel as though the storylines blended together.

Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing
by Matthew Perry

This was a very interesting, surprising and sad story. I felt compelled to read it after Matthew Perry’s death.

The Orphan Train Girl was a very interesting and awesome book. I couldn't put it down. I would definitely recommend this book to kids 10 and up.

Oh William Elizabeth Strout

This is a strange book. Lucy and William embark on an impromptu trip to Maine and learn the truth about their parents' checkered pasts. Not sure the author's message unless "it was mentioned before" as quoted several times throughout the book. I didn't like it and couldn't wait to finish it.

Lessons In Chemistry
by Bonnie Garmus

This is a great book not to judge by its cover. The title and cover primed my brain for a light, beach’s read, and this book was anything but. Readers get first person perspective on many characters, and the plot takes many unexpected turns.

Behind The Scenes At The Museum By Kate Atkinson

Wonderful characters though different time periods. The story begins from a truly unique perspective.
