Still a hoot after all these years!

The Book Of Hope
by Jane Goodall and Douglas Abrams

I remember watching Jane's videos in Gombe when I was in elementary school. Her wisdom fascinated me then so I was excited to read this book. I agree with her ideas about hope. Unfortunately the book read like chat between friends not an interview which waned my interest. Jane's responses to Doug's questions were harsh, especially when he asked her thoughts on reincarnation. A true hero deserved a better and charismatic interviewer than him. Great pictures encouraged me to finish the book.

The book was very good. It was very detailed and it really kept me interested. I would definitely recommend this.

Kisses For Jet

I loved it! I liked the music references and stories in the book. The girl figures out her identity. Her friends and family were very supportive.

I M Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette Mccurdy

Wow, what an emotional ride. I did not know much about this actress, Jeannette McCurdy, but found her memoir interesting. I could not believe all she dealt with as a child and how much she has/is overcoming. Sometimes we forget that everything you see and read does not reflect accurately what is going on in a person’s life, as this book illustrates. Definitely worth a read!

A Divine Truth
by Hilary Walker

ARC from Hilary Walker. I learned a lot about the Catholic religion and cancelled priests. it's unfair to watch innocent people suffer while doing good unto others. At least they have a safe haven at the Dominican Friary as well as the warm support of the King's Brambling and Popplesford residence. The book ends on a cliffhanger leaving the reader with an unbiased opinion what the future hold for everyone!
