Bit wordier than the first but still a gripping read

Cute story about a woman who needs to complete a Christmas countdown calendar in order to inherit her aunt's house.

I enjoyed the small ideas to help stay on track day to day.

Staff Recommendation. So excited the audiobook arrived at the library! This summer I read the hardback book so I jumped at the opportunity to hear Marcellus. What a treat! Michael Ulrich did a great job, although I think Tom Hanks or Robin Williams fit Marcellus's snarky personality. Powerful climax and touching moments more realistic in the audio version. Marcellus Ethan, Tova, Cameron and Avery are a remarkably bright family!!

We loved it! The characters are so cute but I just felt like I was expecting a different ending. But all in all, a nice little book!

I didn't like the book. It skipped around too much. Like several short stories all in one book. They were all boring to me.
