No One Goes Alone
by Erik Larson

View in Library Catalog

A group of researchers, some based on real people such as William James, study possible psychic phenomena in an old house on an isolated island. Erik Larson wrote this as an audio book only, the theory being that a ghost story is better told aloud. Interesting, but the ending was somewhat of a let-down.

This is a fun, quick read, especially if you love dogs. I am going to use the recipe to make my dogs some ice cream!

I liked the characters in this story. They were awkward and humorous.

I like the book even though I thought it was funny but I just read it anyway and I really liked it.

I was disappointed with this book. I generally find to really enjoy Good Morning America Book Club picks. However, this book seemed very disjointed. There were a lot of characters and storylines but I did not feel as though the storylines blended together.

Dear Even Hansen

I loved this book. It tackles some of the hardest thoughts that the narrator has head on. The story pushes you to see things from all different perspectives and help you appreciate how not correcting a simple misunderstanding can snowball and include the entire community.

Stone Butch Blues
